Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you ll love this jobThis job is a member of the Airport Hubs & Gateway Team within the Customer Experience DivisionPlays a critical role in ensuring compliance with airport security, access control, and regulatory requirements.Serves as a key point of contact for employees, new hires, transfers, MDAD, CBP, and internal business partners.Responsible for one or more of the following core functions:SIDA badging administration and coordinationCompliance with MDAD, TSA, and CBP requirementsNew hire and transfer onboarding supportAudit preparation and compliance trackingKey inventory management and accountabilityAccess control administration and recordkeepingWhat you ll doCoordinate all aspects of the SIDA badging process for new hires, transfers, and employees requiring badge renewals or updates.Ensure compliance with MDAD, TSA, CBP, and company security policies and procedures.Serve as the primary liaison between employees and badging authorities to resolve badge-related issues and access concerns.Schedule and track fingerprinting, security threat assessments, badging appointments, and recurrent training requirements.Maintain accurate badging records, access permissions, and employee compliance documentationSupport onboarding activities for new hires and transfers, including badge issuance, system access, locker assignments, uniforms, training coordination, and other required resources.Monitor badge deactivations, expirations, and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure uninterrupted operational access.Conduct periodic badge, key, and access audits to maintain compliance and security accountability.Manage key inventory, issuance, returns, and audit documentation.Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and inspections conducted by MDAD, CBP, TSA, and company leadership.Investigate and resolve badge discrepancies, access issues, and compliance concerns in a timely manner.Maintain sensitive and confidential employee information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Coordinate escort privileges and temporary access requests.Provides support for station events, employee engagement initiatives, special projects, and administrative functions as needed.Partner with Security, HR, Training, and Operations teams to ensure employee readiness and compliance.Support regulatory inspections and respond to security-related inquiries from airport authorities.All you ll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalencyPrevious office/clerical experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceN/ASkills, Licenses & CertificationsKnowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Knowledge of policies, procedures, and corporate structureAbility to prioritize work, be detail-oriented and meet deadlinesAbility to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to be self-motivated with strong organizational skillsAbility to grasp concepts and functionality of specific software and programsAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the Organization Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer serviceApproachable and professional demeanorHigh level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentialityStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work varied hours and holidays (as business needs may vary)Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, (if applicable)Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable What you ll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
