Senior Attorney - Associate

Compensation: 81,000.148,000. / Annually Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Attorney – Associate , to join their winning team in Washington. Our candidate of choice will work in our firm’s west coast foreclosure department and will primarily manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage cases from inception to completion Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies Draft court pleadings, defense of motions Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person Other duties and special projects as needed

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree Juris Doctor from accredited law school Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action Demonstrates commitment to the Firm’s vision, mission and core values Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a face pace and capable of multi-tasking Excellent problem solving and organizational skills Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change
