Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage the execution of key payroll operations, ensure precise tax documentation, and maintain accurate employee records. In this role, you will play a critical part in processing payments, balancing deductions, and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to support a seamless payroll function. This role is in Phoenxi, but is primarily remote. Responsibilities

DESCRIPTION:
Assignment Purpose: To issue paychecks and tax forms, while maintaining
employee records. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports are part of the process.
Key Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Process and issue payments of wages/fees for domestic salaried and hourly
employees
2. Reconcile all payroll data, including all earnings, deductions, garnishments, and
taxes.
3. Coordinate with domestic, internal and external departments for payroll changes and
ancillary activity.

4. Prepare monthly payroll reports, including all matters of payroll
5. Prepare quarterly payroll reports, including Workers Compensation and United Way
contributions.
6. Assists the Payroll Manager, Payroll Supervisor, Auditors and employees with
inquiries and research matters.
7. Responsible for domestic year-end processing and W2 tax filing.
