Hanwha Renewables–specializing in utility‑scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) Chariot Energy–providing retail electricity services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in deregulated markets Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Accounting Analyst to join our team. The Accounting Analyst will perform a variety of accounting‑related tasks to aid and support the overall needs of the Accounting Department for HEUH, reporting to the Accounting Manager of Wholesale Generation. Location: Houston, Texas (onsite, within commuting distance of the office). Responsibilities Prepare and process payments in a timely manner. Data entry and reconciliation, entering and maintaining accurate financial records. Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies. Provide general office and administrative support, including maintaining organized filing systems (physical and digital) and tracking receipts, invoices, and other financial documents. Support audits by gathering documentation. Collaborate with teammates, seek clarification on unclear tasks, and improve financial processes. Assist with special projects, month‑end closing activities, and other ad‑hoc analysis as required. Agility – willingness to adapt to meet business needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills required. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions precisely and ask for clarification when needed. High level of accuracy and independence in work. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong aptitude for problem solving. Eligibility to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship. Preferred Experience Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with Concur. Retail electric industry experience. Knowledge of deregulated energy markets in ERCOT, PJM, and NYISO.
