As a Medical Weight Loss Clinic, we are seeking a thorough, reliable, and certified Front/Back office  Lead Medical Assistant  who empowers employees to exceed job objectives, cultivates unwavering confidence and motivation, establishes unequivocal expectations, and exemplifies resilience and effectiveness. We are seeking experienced professionals in healthcare administration, weight loss, and other related fields to join our team.

As a  Lead office Medical Assistant , you will be our go-to person for performing routine administrative and clinical responsibilities to ensure the clinic's functionality, in addition to providing personalized and compassionate patient care. This includes incorporating our vitamins, injections, supplements, and medication protocols to improve patient care.

Must have strong Leadership, critical and strategic thinking, as well as analytical and planning skills: organization/time management, Excellent communication, and Attention to detail skills.

Lead Medical Assistant duties and or responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Patients check in and check out.
• Data entry and office administrative assignments
• Perform routine clinical tasks, such as intake history, body composition scans, vital signs, and others.
• Answering phones and patient scheduling
• Maintain accurate patient records, schedules, and refills.
• Assist Providers, administer injections, and medications in accordance with protocol
• Must be able to communicate the weight loss program protocol to patients effectively.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Able to cross-promote services being offered.
• Ability to multitask, work independently as a problem solver with a positive, pleasant, and professional outlook.
• Promote good health practices.
• Charting and reviewing charts to support our patients' weight loss and wellness goals.
• Computer and social media savvy.
• Provide educational information on medications, diet, supplements, and other relevant topics to the patient.
• Maintain daily/ weekly assignments and task responsibilities
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all local, state, and federal laws related to operations and patient care.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Two years proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic, hospital, or other settings
• Confident and Strong Leadership abilities
• Must have exceptional phone and in-person etiquette
• Great organization and time management skills
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacology terminology and basic computer literacy

Preferred

• Bilingual or multi-lingual
• Weight loss care background

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm; Sat 9am-3pm
