As a Security Officer Patrol Route Detail in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, reliability, and innovation to every shift while helping create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with access control procedures, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at the location by completing assigned reports, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of security-related conditions that may impact tenants, visitors, and/or property operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
