Job Description

The Bookkeeper will support accurate and timely financial operations through account reconciliation, transaction processing, payroll assistance, reporting, tax preparation support, and organized records management. The role will contribute to month-end close activities through reconciliations and journal entries and will work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform account and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Process invoices and track expenses.
  • Provide payroll support.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Support tax preparation activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Complete month-end close reconciliations and journal entries.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
