Human Resources Generalist

Human Resources Business PartnerThis position will serve as an internal customer support business partner for the production plant. This will include full cycle recruiting, administration and lead the safety program, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, company activity planning, payroll, and employee records. Ensuring accuracy and legal compliance both federally and state. Provides internal support and partnerships to business lines. Responsible for providing day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, training, employee relations). This position will report to the Human Resources Manager.Scope and Function:Serve as a strategic HR advisor to the plantLeads recruitment activities for Hourly roles within the plantEnsure all documentation complies with legal requirementsMaintain all communications to employees, as needed, including the understanding of the handbookCoordinator of the Safety program and aid in driving a zero-incident cultureAssist in HR projects with a continuous improvement mindsetManage timekeeping and payroll systemCoordinate new employee orientation activitiesHandles mild to medium complex employee relations issuesProvide training and support to leaders on topics such as employee relations, compliance matters and engagementAct as the Wellness Champion for corporate wellness initiativesManage the annual United Way campaignPresent employee benefits and support all employee concerns regarding benefitsWork with third party administrators on all FMLA, STD, ADA, situationsAbility to work outside of standard business hours as business demandsAdministering workday transactionsManage attendance record keeping in accordance with company and state lawsSkills/Ability:Organizational skillsAnalytical skillsStrategic MindsetVerbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailTimely follow-upTime ManagementSelf-motivated and highly professional demeanorAbility to work independently and demonstrate integrity, trust, and strategic thinkingExcellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and timely response to requestsPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:100% On-site roleIn office and manufacturing environmentAbility Lifting up to 30 lbs.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field1 - 4 years of experience working in human resourcesCompensation Information:Exempt Salaries Role: $75,000 - $85,000 AnnuallyITW is an equal opportunity employer.
