Position Summary The part‑time Building Security Officer Supervisor for Acrisure Arena will provide a safe environment by overseeing security operations at the venue. The role involves supervising the execution of standard operating policies and procedures while delivering a high level of customer service. This position will remain open until June 19, 2026. Benefits Hourly rate: $27.00. Part‑time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching. About the Venue Acrisure Arena is a premier 11,000+ capacity venue in the Coachella Valley, designed for hockey and acoustically optimized for concerts. It offers top‑tier hospitality, artist amenities, and modern music and sports venue features. Responsibilities Supervise security operations, including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments. Coordinate and implement safety and security protocols at the venue. Ensure all building security systems operate during event and non‑event periods (cameras, access control, screening gateways, hand‑wagons, etc.). Serve as primary escalation point for client and employee security inquiries, concerns, and complaints during events. Work with the Events department to align security, police, fire, and medical needs with event estimates. Champion security awareness, enforce policies, and provide solutions for business‑specific security issues. Develop deployment models based on capacity and show genre. Cultivate a sustainable security culture, addressing employee conduct and performance concerns. Build positive relationships with customers and local, state, and federal authorities. Maintain the venue’s reputation for excellent entertainment by balancing enforcement of rules with guest safety and enjoyment. Resolve guest, artist, client, or tenant security issues, concerns, and complaints to maintain a positive public image. Develop, implement, and supervise facility security systems and programs. Create detailed dot maps for staff placement, accessibility, and access control. Communicate with client security personnel and coordinate tour needs before shows. Coordinate directly with emergency services for medical and first‑aid facilities. Oversee contracted security personnel at various events. Advise local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as needed. Perform other duties as relevant and necessary. Make immediate decisions and communicate in emergencies with management, first responders, guests, employers, and performers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree from a two‑year college or equivalent education/experience. Minimum 2–4 years of progressive security or law‑enforcement experience, including supervisory roles. Experience in stadium, arena, or similar venue environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines. Strong leadership skills, ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback. Excellent interpersonal skills, professional, diplomatic, and mature communication with clients, peers, and community members. Extensive experience managing and coaching teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional certifications preferred (CPP, CSSP, or similar law‑enforcement certificates). Flexibility to adapt to changing situations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
