Summer FullTime Day Behavior Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, providing behavioral therapy and patient care. They implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients develop essential life skills, improve social interactions, and reduce problematic behaviors. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Work directly with individuals to provide behavioral therapy and support Collect and record data on individual's progress and behaviors Assist in developing individualized treatment goals Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and progress tracking Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy Job Details Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Schedule: 6 hour shift; 8 hour shift; Day Shift; Evening Shift; Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor\'s (Required) Experience: Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred); Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Eagan, MN (Required) Ability to Relocate: Eagan, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr EMPOWER LEARNING INC
