Senior Bookkeeper
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for multiple entities
- Prepare vendor and subcontractor payments and weekly check runs
- Monitor cash balances, collections, and project funding needs
- Complete bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Maintain accurate job-cost, WIP, prepaid expense, and liability records
- Prepare construction draw requests and financial reports
- Maintain vendor records, W-9s, 1099 information, and audit documentation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and external accountant requests
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience in construction, real estate development, or property management
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, job costing, WIP, construction draws, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency with construction accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality #zip
