This onsite, full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 academic year. You'll be part of a collaborative school environment dedicated to empowering every student.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities in middle school settings
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to middle school students with varying disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized education programs aligned with student goals
• Employ differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related service providers
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report on performance
• Engage in ongoing communication with families to support each learner’s success
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development as required

This full-time, school-based contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (7.5-hour days). Interviews will be scheduled promptly, with a preference for in-person meetings, though Zoom interviews are also available.
