Schedule

Night shift available: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and a valid RN license in Maryland. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients, manage ventilated patients, and administer emergency medications.
• Handle psychiatric emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Document patient information using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Consistent experience in an Emergency Room setting (minimum of 2 years).
• Valid RN license in the state of Maryland or compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• CPI certification is required for handling psychiatric patients.
• Proficiency in managing various patient diagnoses, including respiratory, cardiac, and psychological conditions.
