You’ll have knowledge of project management best practices, budgeting, and construction technology. You exhibit a go‑getter attitude, assume responsibility, and communicate effectively with your team, partners, and clients. What You’ll Do Our Assistant Project Managers are pivotal players in our Operations team, partnering with Project Managers and field staff to keep projects running smoothly from preconstruction through closeout. You'll support the team in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination, while sharpening leadership skills. Support the project team in maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring smooth communication across stakeholders. Manage material procurement, ensuring submittals and fabrication timelines align with project schedules. Collaborate with clients and vendors to develop, maintain procurement and tracking logs for owner‑furnished, contractor‑installed (OFCI) items. Assist with QA/QC efforts, track punch list completion, and manage commissioning items. Participate in scope reviews during purchasing to identify and eliminate gaps or overlaps in work packages. Review project budgets, bids, and change orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals. Support project documentation and reporting, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and issue logs, ensuring accurate, prompt distribution. Promote jobsite safety by monitoring procedures and coordinating with the Superintendent and Safety team. Required Education and Experience 4‑year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the built construction world. Desired Skills Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Advanced organizational and documentation capabilities. Knowledge of the bidding/budgeting process based on contract documents. Intermediate knowledge of profit components and billing standards. Experience using Procore for scheduling and overall project management, and Sage for estimating. Knowledge of building construction components and systems for conceptual budgets. Understanding of quantity take‑offs, subcontractor bids, scheduling, general conditions, and coordination issues. Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance fully paid by Skender.
