Accounting Analyst

Accounting Systems Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3–4 days/week) Compensation: $25–$30/hour Employment Type: Contract with potential for contract-to-hire Position Overview We are seeking an Accounting Systems Specialist to support the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple platforms. This individual will serve as a key bridge between operational and accounting systems, ensuring data consistency, resolving discrepancies, and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities Review and reconcile customer deposits and cash activity Verify batch totals and ensure transactions are accurately recorded Compare financial data across systems (including QuickBooks and operational platforms) Investigate, identify, and resolve discrepancies between systems Analyze trends and recurring issues impacting financial data accuracy Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records Partner with leadership to improve processes and reporting reliability Support ongoing accounting operations and system-related initiatives Qualifications Strong experience with account reconciliations and financial data validation Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Ability to analyze data across multiple systems and identify inconsistencies Background in accounting operations, including cash applications, AR, bookkeeping, or related areas Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution Preferred Experience Experience supporting system integrations or multiple ERP/accounting platforms Exposure to financial systems, data validation, or process improvement initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr HRB
