Regional Sales Director - San Diego/Orange County/Long Beach/Inland Empire, CA

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director for Cardiac Rhythm Management in Southern California to lead a regional sales team, develop strategy, and drive commercial objectives. The role combines direct team management with field engagement and clinical coaching across a multi-county territory.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional sales strategy and execution to meet franchise goals and sales forecasts
- Recruit, onboard, and coach territory managers and clinical specialists for performance
- Conduct quarterly field visits with team to assess clinical competencies and customer engagement
- Prepare regional budgets, forecasts, and expense estimates; monitor compliance
- Build cross-functional partnerships with marketing, training, and clinical trial teams
Requirements
- Proven sales leadership experience managing teams and achieving revenue targets
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management devices or cardiovascular medical technology
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills for team development and performance management
- Strategic planning and business acumen with P&L oversight experience
- Ability to travel more than 50% to support regional territory and team
- Clinical competency in cardiac rhythm procedures or willingness to obtain certification
