Human Resource Coordinator

Our Law Firm is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to support the Firm's day-to-day HR and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional services environment, can handle confidential information with care, and is comfortable supporting attorneys, staff, and firm leadership. Responsibilities Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant records. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire materials, coordinating paperwork, and helping ensure a smooth employee experience. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, HR records, and related documentation. Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, paid time off and sick time requests, benefits administration, and payroll-related coordination and administration. Respond to routine employee questions regarding firm policies, procedures, and HR processes, escalating sensitive matters appropriately. Help coordinate employee communications, training sessions, firm events, and compliance-related reminders. Support updates to HR policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and internal forms. Provide general administrative support to firm leadership and office management on HR-related projects. Experience 1 year prior experience in human resources, office administration, legal administration, or professional services support required. Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with ADP, payroll, and applicant tracking systems. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support multiple team members in a fast-paced environment. Interest in employment compliance, workplace policies, and law firm operations is a plus. Prior experience in a law firm preferred.
