Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students across multiple schools, fostering their growth and independence as a school-based Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. From August 25th to December 18th, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience for students, working across elementary, middle, and high school sites. This full-time, contract position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact young lives.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to independently manage a multi-site caseload
• Skill in adapting therapy interventions to fit diverse student needs and educational goals
• Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Serve approximately 32 direct students across several school buildings each week, delivering around 800 minutes of therapy
• Coordinate and manage your own schedule to meet caseload requirements (with initial support/oversight provided at year’s start)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Maintain thorough records of student progress, attend IEP meetings, and provide consultation within the school community
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel empowered to succeed
