Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school occupational therapy services in a school setting in Yuma, Arizona.


The ideal candidate will assist/provide evaluations, direct and consultative therapy, and IEP-related support services to students in accordance with school district requirements while supporting student educational access, motor skill development, and continuity of care.

Requirements:
•Applicable professional qualifications, licenses, and certifications required to provide occupational therapy services within an educational setting.
•Appropriately licensed and/or certified OT (or supervised OT Assistant where permitted by applicable law and licensing requirements).
•Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
•Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services based on student needs.
•Develop recommendations, goals, accommodations, and interventions tailored to individual students.
•Support students in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory-motor functioning, visual-motor skills, self-care, positioning, accessibility, and participation in educational activities.
•Monitor and document student progress throughout the course of services.
•Participate in IEP meetings and other student-related meetings as requested.
•Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and other service providers.
•Prepare required evaluation reports and maintain accurate service documentation within District timelines.
•Coordinate schedules and service delivery with designated District personnel across assigned school sites.
•Any other duties as assigned.
