PMO Program Manager (Project Governance & Operational Excellence)Location: Columbus, OH (JSET Headquarters)Work Arrangement: Full-Time, In-OfficeCompany: JSET Automated TechnologiesLead the Operating System Behind Project SuccessJSET Automated Technologies is seeking an experienced PMO Program Manager to lead and continuously improve our Project Management Office (PMO) operating system.This strategic leadership role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and optimizing the standards, governance processes, reporting frameworks, project lifecycle requirements, and execution tools that drive successful project delivery across the organization.The PMO Program Manager serves as a key partner to Operations Leadership, Project Management, Construction, Controls, and QA/QC teams to ensure projects are executed consistently, risks are identified early, and best practices are embedded throughout the project lifecycle. The PMO Program Manager will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining those systems.What You'll DoPMO Leadership & GovernanceOwn and maintain JSET's Project Management Office operating systemDevelop and improve project lifecycle standards, governance processes, and project management frameworksStandardize project startup, execution, recovery, turnover, and closeout practices across the organizationManage project management templates, workflows, standards, playbooks, and execution toolsDrive consistency and accountability across the Project Management organizationProject Health & Performance ManagementLead project health review processes and governance meetingsMonitor project performance, risk indicators, execution trends, and operational metricsDevelop and oversee project recovery processes for at-risk projectsPartner with operational leaders to identify and resolve execution challengesEscalate critical project risks and organizational process issues when appropriateProcess Improvement & Operational ExcellenceLead continuous improvement initiatives across project management processesFacilitate lessons learned reviews and implement organizational improvementsUpdate standards, SOPs, templates, training materials, and reporting tools based on project performanceIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, consistency, and project outcomesSupport change management and adoption of new PM processes and toolsPM Training & DevelopmentDevelop and maintain PM onboarding and training programsCreate project management standards, execution guidance, and process documentationSupport competency development across Project Managers and Assistant Project ManagersPromote consistent adoption of governance processes, reporting standards, and execution expectationsReporting & Executive VisibilityDevelop and maintain PMO dashboards and reporting toolsCreate meaningful project health, risk, recovery, and performance reportingProvide Operational Leadership with actionable insights into portfolio performanceSupport data-driven decision-making through effective reporting and governance processesCross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with Project Managers, Construction Leadership, Controls Leadership, QA/QC, and Operations teamsEnsure project management processes align with organizational quality requirements and execution expectationsSupport readiness reviews, closeout processes, governance reviews, and organizational improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor 's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in PMO leadership, program management, project controls, operational excellence, business process improvement, project governance, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience developing and implementing project management standards, governance processes, or operating proceduresStrong understanding of project lifecycle management and project execution best practicesExperience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authorityExperience facilitating executive reviews, governance meetings, or operational reviewsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience leading or supporting a Project Management Office (PMO)Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, technology, mission-critical infrastructure, engineering, or trade-based environmentsExperience with project governance frameworks, stage-gate processes, or project lifecycle managementExperience developing dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and operational reportingPMP CertificationLean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement experienceExperience with Power BI, Microsoft Lists, Procore, Smartsheet, ERP systems, or
