A department representative must understand the complexities of how freight moves within our supply chain, as well as the R+L service portfolio that facilitates these shipments. To succeed in this position, a representative must work cohesively with our National Account Sales Directors and Operations team to support the shipping demands of a varied customer base.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide world-class customer service to our internal and external customers with timely problem resolutionManage reports for service and exceptions with respect to our national account customer baseCommunicate in an effective and efficient manner with service centers to ensure on-time deliveriesAssist with MyRLC login requests and management for customer access to our websiteProvide on-demand support for National Account Sales Directors regarding customer requestsProcess reports/compile data to support overall shipping activities on a case-by-case needSupport the general customer care call queue, when requiredBuild healthy working relationships with customers to deliver positive customer experiencesPossess a positive attitude when dealing with internal and external customersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment to support heavy volumes with phone and email communicationsAbility to deal with potentially adverse situations, such as the movement of freight and problem resolutionProficient with Microsoft products, i.e., Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.Minimum Requirement:Benefits: R+L Carriers offers an excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching contributions, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and vacation lodging at our exclusive employee resorts in Daytona Beach, FL, Big Bear Lake, CA, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC.About Us: R+L Carriers is a family owned, privately held transportation company founded in 1965.
