Corporate Development Specialist

Our client is seeking a Corporate Development Specialist to support M&A strategy, deal execution, and growth initiatives. You'll work closely with senior leadership on acquisitions, partnerships, and organic growth analysis, gaining direct exposure to healthcare industry dynamics. Key Responsibilities Support the full M&A lifecycle: target identification, financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence coordination, and deal structuring Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution) to evaluate acquisition targets and strategic alternatives Prepare board-level materials, investment committee memos, and management presentations Conduct industry and competitive research to identify M&A targets and market trends within healthcare consulting/services Partner with legal, finance, and operating teams during diligence and integration planning Track and manage the pipeline of potential deals, partnerships, and strategic initiatives Assist with post-merger integration analysis and synergy tracking as needed Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in investment banking (healthcare coverage a plus, but not required), corporate development, private equity, or transaction advisory Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, M&A) Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CapIQ, PitchBook, or FactSet preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis for senior stakeholders Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with shifting priorities Interest in healthcare industry dynamics; prior healthcare-related coursework, internships, or deal exposure is a plus but not required What We Offer Direct exposure to C-suite and senior leadership on strategic initiatives A defined path from banking/advisory into corporate strategy and healthcare industry expertise Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and full benefits package Collaborative, high-growth environment with significant ownership over projects The Equus Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
