Regional Business Manager - California

Responsibilities Collaborate with Area Sales Director, VP of Sales, Commercial Marketing, and training teams to provide the tools, support, and education needed for the sales team. Lead marketing and promotional campaigns within the assigned region, driving new product launches and consistent messaging for new and existing products. Partner with the CSS Marketing Group to create field‑level initiatives that generate near‑term business growth. Work with employees to maintain professional development plans and hold them accountable for progress. Utilize performance management processes and tools to assist in activity planning and accountability. Partner with the enterprise sales team to grow GPO and IDN contracts. Follow corporate sales direction and lead the team to meet and exceed objectives and metrics. Collaborate with internal partners to facilitate direct reports’ work. Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to the next management level. Accurately forecast quarterly results. Drive growth in sales of Acclarent & Acute Specialty Instruments at key accounts within the assigned region. Develop a business plan for key account growth in each territory. Build key relationships in targeted facilities. Foster the development of key opinion leaders within the region. Manage a team of field‑based sales and clinical support associates, ensuring they perform their duties and serve as a professional interface with the healthcare community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. At least 7 years of outside sales experience, including medical device sales. Prior leadership experience preferred. Track record of exceeding sales quota. Strong coaching and development skills for sales colleagues. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Confidence in communicating with surgeons and hospital personnel. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM. Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; weekend travel may be required for key customer events.
