What You'll Do

Keep GTC in high working order that directly impacts the quality our customers count on. You'll take pride in eliminating potential problems, hazards, and wasted effort. Your eye for detail, safety and cleanliness will be paramount to achieve production.

• Empty chip bins and contact vendor for pickup of chip dumpsters.
• Maintain cleanliness of chip dumpster area.
• Sweep and mop floors in manufacturing areas as required.
• Work together towards machine cleaning and coolant sump cleaning.
• Assist with coolant addition to machines when necessary.
• Assist with machine lubrication when necessary.
• Change lights and ballast as needed.
• Monitor bathrooms and keep supplied with toilet paper and paper towels.
• Basic plumbing, such as backed up toilets and repair of urinal mechanism.
• Work with outside vendor to request supplies.
• Deliver various boxes, move furniture and other similar duties in office areas.
• Work together with other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Maintain outside of building by picking up trash.
• Shovel snow and salt walkways in winter months.

What You Bring

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information related to position.
• Ability to fill out necessary forms related to job.

• Able to use tools required performing the job.
• Forklift operation.
• Capable of pushing, pulling and lifting a reasonable amount in order to perform responsibilities.
• High school diploma or GED required.
