- **Years of Experience Required:** 1.5 years - **First-timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS - **Licensure:** Pending License accepted - **Trauma Level Experience:** Trauma Level I preferred, Trauma Level II required - **Skills Required:** - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Continuous IV sedation - CVA/Acute Stroke management - External ventricular drain (EVD) management - ICP monitoring - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Lumbar drains - Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience - Post Neurosurgery management - Spinal cord injury management - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - Traumatic Brain injury management - Ventilator Management - Neuro skills/experience - **Special Requirements:** - EVD insertions - Neuro Post-op care - A-line insertions - Intubation - Central line insertion - Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) - Post-TPA care - Post Thrombectomy Care - EVDs and CRRT equipment - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias **Additional Notes:** - Must have Neuro experience. - Float requirement: May be floated to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED to care for admitted patients, PACU to care for admitted patients.
