Building Maintenance Manager

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Janitor-Custodian to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, making basic repairs to the building, including painting and upkeep (indoors and outdoors), assisting with the pickup and distribution of food donations, and cleaning/general maintenance of the building.

Responsibilities:
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs
Perform routine maintenance tasks
Organize custodial closets and spaces
Maintain the working conditions of the cleaning equipment
Loading and offloading
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Teamwork
Our Building Maintenance Manager would perform a wide range of tasks to ensure the upkeep and proper functioning of a building, its systems, and its grounds. These duties include repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components, as well as performing routine tasks such as painting, cleaning, and landscaping.
