SCADA Developer

Insight Global is seeking a SCADA Developer to join a growing manufacturing technology team supporting critical plant operations across North America. This individual will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SCADA applications used in manufacturing environments. While Ignition experience is preferred, candidates with experience on other SCADA platforms such as FactoryTalk, Wonderware/AVEVA, WinCC, iFIX, or similar systems are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Design, develop, and support SCADA applications used across manufacturing facilities Build new applications and enhancements to existing SCADA solutions Develop and maintain system integrations, dashboards, and operational reporting tools Utilize Python and SQL to support application functionality and data management Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing support for production systems Participate in implementations supporting capital projects and plant modernization initiatives Provide occasional after-hours support when needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus 2+ years of experience, OR 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree Experience with at least one SCADA platform: Ignition FactoryTalk WinCC iFIX Similar SCADA technologies Experience with Python development or scripting Experience working with SQL and relational databases Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with technical and operational stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Ignition 8.1 and/or Ignition Perspective experience Manufacturing, industrial automation, or plant-floor systems experience Controls, OT, or process automation experience Experience with MQTT Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Seeq, or Grafana Experience with Java, C++, C#, or .NET technologies What You'll Gain Opportunity to support manufacturing facilities across North America Exposure to large-scale industrial technology initiatives Career growth within a large enterprise IT organization Long-term advancement opportunities as the team continues to expand #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
