Hays are now looking for a D evOps / Platform Engineer for one of our local clients:
- £550 p/d Inside IR35
- Remote
- 6 month+ contract
- Must hold SC Clearance
Key Skills Required
- Support and maintenance of legacy applications and infrastructure
- CI/CD pipeline development and support
- Automated testing and code refactoring
- Nginx, Apache Tomcat and services
- ETL processes
- Containerisation and virtualisation (Docker, VMware)
- Elasticsearch administration and support
- Oracle 11 administration including RAC, RMAN and Partitioning
- Experience with auditing and protective monitoring integrations
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Oracle Solaris environments

- Perform peer reviews and maintain engineering standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Advise on and implement CI/CD and automation improvements
