Work Environment\n

This position is designed to allow therapists to work remotely while maintaining strong connections with colleagues and clients. You will engage in a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique challenges faced by older adults, which may include evaluating cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of geriatric psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to help manage urgent mental health situations involving elderly clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment possibilities, and available community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of patient interactions according to HIPAA regulations, ensuring both legal and ethical compliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid California license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, significantly enriching the therapeutic capabilities you bring to the team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
