What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process in the OR setting
• Assess patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care and monitoring
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain a sterile environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Use clinical judgment to respond to emergent patient needs during surgeries
• Document patient observations, procedures, and care activities accurately
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and institutional policies throughout your shift

What You Need

• Required:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 1 year OR experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Preferred:
  • Experience with diverse surgical procedures and patient populations
  • Leadership or oversight experience in a clinical setting
