Role Provide direct nursing care outside the hospital in a pediatric hospice setting, coordinating home healthcare activities for diverse age groups. Responsibilities Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and environmental needs; develop and modify individualized care plans; administer medications and treatments per protocols; supervise ancillary staff; report patient status changes; ensure patient safety and follow policies; establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team; utilize community resources; and promote patient safety through proactive measures. Qualifications Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program; RN licensure; CPR/BLS certification; at least 1 year of related experience. Skills Strong assessment, communication, and patient safety skills; ability to work independently; adaptable to diverse patient needs. Physical & Work Conditions Sedentary activity with minimal physical risk; minimal hazards in a clinical environment.
