Location: Columbus, Ohio Area

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of CNC machining experience and be proficient in operating and setting up CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment. Candidates with G-Code knowledge and experience using WorkNC software are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers to produce quality parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Load materials, tools, and fixtures into CNC machines.
• Perform machine setups and make necessary offsets and adjustments.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and production standards are met.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience.
• Experience with G-Code programming and editing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WorkNC software.
• Experience operating the following machines:

• SNK-RB4
• SNK-DC4
• Makino KE55
• Okuma MA-630VB

• Setup experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
