Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BLS required Certifications: N/A Must-Have: EOW/EOH required. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required. Charge training/shadowing is offered. Description: This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. Typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients and post-op bariatric surgery patients, alongside other general medical/surgical patients. This unit includes available step-down beds. These beds are not dedicated or reserved and will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down unit patients. While efforts will be made to ensure step-down patients are assigned to staff, assignments cannot be guaranteed, so travelers may have to care for step-down patients. Please take this into consideration when applying.
