Together & Strong Counseling is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, serving clients at our Detox Center based in Buffalo, New York. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while allowing for close collaboration with a dynamic team of social workers, healthcare professionals, and specialists. While you will primarily work from home, you will engage regularly through virtual meetings to ensure cohesive teamwork and receive ongoing support and guidance tailored to our unique client population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to determine specific needs and create personalized intervention plans.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), collaborating with families and team members to set achievable goals.
\n
• Monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to respond to changing needs and family dynamics.
\n
• Provide direct support and counseling to families, offering insights and techniques to facilitate child development and emotional well-being.
\n
• Engage with evidence-based practices while adhering to all Federal and State regulations to maintain compliance and promote safety within service delivery.

• Develop strong rapport with children and their families, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
\n
• Utilize a coaching model and natural teaching environments to facilitate effective learning experiences tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Regularly communicate with team members and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care and enhance service delivery for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting families with children experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Our dedicated team engages with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that our services are sensitive to the unique experiences of each family. You will work to help children develop critical skills relating to physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication abilities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, licensed by the Department of Public Health, with an active LCSW credential.

• A valid driver’s license is required for potential on-site visits or collaboration with external partners.
\n
• One year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of Natural Learning Environment Practices and adaptability to various learning styles to better serve clients.

• Strong organizational, time management, and collaborative skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with additional experience in substance use counseling or familiarity with integrated care models are preferred, as this will enhance our comprehensive approach to servicing clients with multifaceted needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
