Civil Engineer As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development. Responsibilities Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards. Data Analysis: Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents. Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare various reports, opinions, and recommendations essential for project direction, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, cost opinions, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading. Construction Support: Offer construction-related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, transmittals, and organize site plans and construction documents under senior staff guidance. Engineering Software Mastery: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software packages to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring alignment with standards. Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with staff, ensuring seamless project coordination. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 3+ years of experience. EIT preferred. AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred. Benefits Generous Paid Time Off.
