Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department during night shifts. The position requires experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Position Description: Emergency Room RN with at least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar size ED and trauma level 2 or 1 setting. Must possess active Virginia or Compact nursing license, and certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active Virginia or Compact license, 3 years of ER experience, certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and trauma certification (ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC). Additional Information: Must work every other weekend; assignments end on Saturday. Locals within 60 miles are not accepted. Prior travel experience is required for all CETRA positions. IVS approval necessary; client may cancel up to 36 hours prior due to census. Active VA / Compact license required at time of submission. All RTO must be in the packet at submission.
