Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience and current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES certification.

Cardiac Cath Lab performing minimally invasive cardiac procedures with a full-service Electrophysiology (EP) program. May float to support other cardiovascular departments including EP and Cath Holding. Schedule includes 5x8 and 4x10 shifts with varying start times between 7a-7p. Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, averaging approximately 12 call days per month. Position scheduled for 40 hours per week with potential overtime based on procedural volume.

Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required. Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry. ARRT credential alone not accepted. Current BLS and ACLS required. One of the following current credentials required: RCIS, RCVT, or RCES. VA or compact RN license required at time of submission, if applicable. No prior license or background history issues accepted. Must be able to pass facility EKG/telemetry competency test with 80% or higher.

Support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures across multiple cardiovascular units. Travelers must be willing to work two of the three winter holidays for longer assignments. 3 hours of billable modules required, completed prior to start. No accommodation available for PAPR use during fit testing. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for RN roles, though allied positions may still be considered. RTO must be submitted with request for consideration and is approved on a case-by-case basis.
