Job Summary FIU has Temporary Executive positions that may become available in the future within one of the University departments for a short term, temporary basis (no more than 6 months or less). Duties Assist in implementation of programs sponsored by the department. Support faculty/staff with research activities. Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures. Assist with day‑to‑day operational and/or administrative functions. Job Category Temporary Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization and two years of experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialization and four years of experience. Candidates recruited through this temporary pool will be required to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with Faculty/Staff, Students and both middle and upper management. Candidate will also be required to display proficiency with the use of Windows and other software packages. Work Schedule General University hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, however may vary depending on department needs.
