CAT Scale Company is hiring an innovative and goal-oriented Scale Technician to join our team. Travel both in the United States and Canada, installing and opening new truck scales in our 2,300+ CAT Scale network! Our Scale Technicians are on the road for an average of 1 week a month, installing a brand-new state-of-the-art CAT Scale. For the other 3 weeks, work is based in Walcott, Iowa, at the CAT Scale Headquarters.

As a Scale Technician, you will work with and learn from various people, including crew members, foremen, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers. You will also lead scale installations and major overhaul projects.

• Excellent customer service, technical, and computer skills

• Construction/electrical experience is a plus.

• Previous electronic troubleshooting experience

• Able to perform with limited supervision

• Computer networking skills are a plus!

• Ability to provide own set of tools
