COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Job Title Cook Supervisor – Full Time Location 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, NY 10577 Schedule Full time; days and hours may vary (details during interview) Pay $21.00–$24.00 per hour Job Summary Directly supervises food‑service associates, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and laws. Responsibilities Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems. Advise management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use. Store, label, and date food items according to policy; maintain established food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Operate food‑service equipment safely and according to established policies and procedures. Help serve meals; remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior cooking experience required. Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. May require Florida Level 2 background screening for certain positions.
