Our Operations Assistant supports the daily operations of our e-commerce pet supply business by managing inventory, purchase orders, product listings, and sales reporting. This is a full-time, in-office position (M-F 8am-4pm).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders within our inventory software.
• Validate data across invoices, packing lists, pricing, quantities, and unit conversions for accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documentation and print labels for Amazon, Chewy, and other distribution partners.
• Assist with marketplace listing updates across e-commerce platforms and other operational projects.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a completely computer-based office role involving data entry, spreadsheets, or business software.
• High school diploma, plus some college coursework or other post-secondary education.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable performing everyday business math - converting units of measure, calculating cost per pound.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

• Full-time, in-office position. Weekdays, 8am-4pm.
• 8 hours per day working at a computer, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Note this is an independent role with minimal colleague collaboration/meetings, no customer-facing interactions.
• Ideal for someone who is content with structured, detail-oriented computer work.
