As a Security Officer Full Time School Patrol in Cary NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government education location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will contribute to a caring people-first culture built on teamwork integrity and a reliable agile approach helping create a welcoming environment for students staff and visitors.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities across school locations.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances common areas and arrival and dismissal activity to help to support orderly operations and follow post instructions for access control and visitor handling.
• Document observations incidents and/or policy concerns in a timely manner and assist with requested security-related duties during school events or after-hours activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
