What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points observe customer and visitor activity and report suspicious behavior policy violations and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence assisting with crowd and line management and following post orders for opening closing and after-hours patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
