Lead Java / J2EE Developer With AWS Experience
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: Long Term
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of strong team leader experience to lead Java/J2EE team with exposure in offshore-onsite model, with strong communication skills.
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns, ability to scale applications.
- Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Able to look at code and logs to find root cause.
- Someone with drive to take current operations, processes, and technology to the next level.
- 24x7 support.
- Proven working experience in Java based web service (both SOAP and REST) development.
- Strong command of Java and J2EE internals (JDBC, JMS, class loading, memory and transaction management, etc) specific to web service development.
- Strong relational database skills (SQL, ORACLE, DB2).
- Strong Tomcat experience (TomEE preferred) monitoring and configuration.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux.
- Experience with Active MQ.
- Experience with XML Gateway (Layer-7 a strong plus).
- Experience with test-driven development, JUnit a plus.
- Experience with Jenkins a plus.
- Elastic Search and Kibana experience a plus.
- Experience with AWS.
