Civil Engineer

Windsor Mill, MD (Hybrid 3 days in the office) Contract to Hire Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects related to energy and utilities infrastructure and sustainable solutions. Responsibilities Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including pipelines, substations, and renewable energy facilities. Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met. Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Participate in the review and approval of contractor work and project deliverables. Provide technical support during construction and maintenance activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 0-3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the energy and utilities sector. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is preferred.
