Benevolent Family Services is an expanding, dedicated provider of Mental Health services for adults & children facing serious mental illnesses. Our mission focuses on empowering individuals through comprehensive and compassionate support, helping them develop essential skills for independent living.RequirementsMust be familiar with PHP and/or IOP level of care for serious mental health disorders.Should be versed in substance use disorders (SUD) and various levels of care.Must be familiar and experienced with multiple serious mental health diagnoses (Adults and/or children)Provide initial intake screening and mental health assessments that identify service needs and recommend options for care.Share assessment findings with individuals and work collectively to develop goals for treatment.Provide individual, group, or family therapyProvide coordinated care by initiating or participating in client-centered consultation with internal and external providers involved in care or servicesReassess and review treatment progress with clients at prescribed intervalsAssist in establishing effective communication between BFS, other social agencies serving clients, and the CommunityAttend monthly company meetingsGeneral CompetenciesContribute to the development of a culture of careComplete comprehensive behavioral health evaluations and assessmentsProvide treatment/care servicesProvide referral and transition services including the linkage and discharge planning.Demonstrate and comply with knowledge of ethical standardsProvide differential treatment approaches and interventions to address phase of life and relationship issues including individual, couples, and group therapyDemonstrate knowledge of documentation standards and capacity to meet documentation expectationsEducation & ExperienceMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health fieldHave an active license as an LPC, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of VirginiaShould be actively credentialed with various insurance panelsMust have experience in providing counseling and/or psychotherapy servicesMust have basic computer and keyboarding skillsThe therapist must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served. Weekend and evening hours are availableThose interested in group work preferredPay from $77,000
