Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strategic audience and prospect lists across key verticals.
• Develop and execute initiatives that expand subscriptions, partnerships, and revenue.
• Represent the organization with prospective partners, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Strengthen brand positioning through strategic relationships, outreach, and community engagement.
• Identify new business and partnership opportunities aligned with organizational growth goals.
• Support special events that advance audience development and partner relationships.

Requirements:

• Experience building audiences, prospect lists, brands, partnerships, or growth initiatives.
• Comfortable in an external-facing role and building relationships with new people.
• Strong understanding of media, publishing, journalism, or subscription-based businesses.
• Previous experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or audience growth preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in journalism, public affairs, business, or civic life.

Salary: 85k-125k/year
