Human Resources Generalist 2 days ago Requisition ID: 4770 We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Raleigh, NC – Corporate Office. Purpose: This is a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, professional development, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while developing a positive relationship between all staff and senior management. Education and Experience: Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration/human resources or related field, 3-5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience and HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP certification. Assist in recruitment plan and process by coordinating job postings and providing training and technical assistance to Center-level supervisors regarding tracking of applicants, interviews, selection process and offer letters. Conduct employee investigations on issues including claims of harassment, claims of discrimination and policy violations. Make recommendations to supervisor. Screen applicants and participate in interviews as needed. Maintain employee records in HCMS (ADP Workforce Now) including personal information, compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, status changes and terminations. Compile reports, analyze data for trends and take proactive steps to improve employee experience. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment. Attend training and seminars to stay current on Human Resource laws, legislation and trends. Maintain compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) across all Human Resource functions. Provide coaching and conflict resolutions to managers and employees and work with other members of HR to make recommendations for improvement. Participate and implement in policy and procedure development. Prepare and conduct training/s as needed. Desired Skills: Ability to communicate, receive, and transfer written, oral, and electronic information effectively. Computer skills including Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and Outlook. Understanding HR best practices and current regulations. Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HCMS is a plus. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and analytical skills. Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion. Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working on a variety of projects. Working Conditions: This job operates in a Team Environment in a professional in-office setting. Light travel in and out of state expected.
