Join us and start doing your life’s best work.(sm)The Director, Strategic Solution Advisors is accountable to support our client’s utilizing Acute Revenue Cycle Business Office technologies to ensure product value, identifying opportunities and develop a partnership with Optum and partnering with Product Management, Growth Office and Deployment team as a solution matter expert in back-end Revenue Cycle Operations evaluating new and/or expanding growth opportunities, providing expertise to enhance current technologies and supporting best practice operations during the deployment of the technologies.Our technologies provide business intelligence paired with analytic support to help health systems thrive on three constituencies critical to hospital performance: Revenue cycle management, reducing care variation, and hospital growth strategy.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Master the functionality of the Revenue Cycle Business Office technology softwareDevelop expertise in product terrain and understanding of value proposition of technologiesUse technology platform to analyze institutions’ operational, clinical, and/or financial performanceDevelop presentations/report deliverables Presentation of final reports which include but not limited to key findings, opportunities and key actions based on data analysisMaintain and share business and technical expertise with clients and other staffLead client facing meetings - in person or remote Support Growth Office as a solution matter expert during the sales and/or renewal process by providing but not limited to, pre-sale Return on Investment Analysis, Operational Assessment, Demonstration of the technologySupport Product Management team with product refinement opportunities, value message(s), client education and/or overall solution matter expertisePartner with Deployment team to ensure implementation of the technologies illustrates best practices and configuration supporting product valueYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Associate degree5+ years of Healthcare Back-end Revenue Cycle experience2+ years of management/leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycleProficient with MS Office SuiteExperience leading presentations using solid written and verbal communications skillsExperience executing projects independentlyExperience working collaboratively in a teamExperience with working across multiple projects and relationshipsAbility to travel up to 75% domestically to client sites after Covid restrictions liftedIf you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
