Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging systems, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical database
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
